# Buy more credits

Eligible subscribers can add one-time credit packs without replacing the current plan.

## Where to buy

The recurring billing owner decides the purchase path:

* **Shopify billing:** open the bill-owning store's Shopify App, then **Plan & billing → Buy more credits**.
* **Card billing:** open Studio **Account → Plan & billing → Buy more credits**.

Other stores and surfaces point to that owner. They do not open a second payment rail.

## How packs are used

* A pack adds to the shared account balance.
* Monthly credits are spent before pack credits.
* Among packs, credits with the earliest expiry are spent first.
* The purchase screen states whether a pack expires.

After approval, return to the billing page and check **Credits left** or Studio **Account → Usage**. The balance can take a moment to refresh.

Pack sizes and prices appear at purchase time and are not duplicated in this guide.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.selvette.com/credits-and-billing/buy-more-credits.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
