# Date ranges and timezones

Insights opens on the last 30 days. You can choose:

* 7 days;
* 30 days;
* 90 days;
* All time; or
* a custom From and To range.

The chosen range scopes the funnel, trend, attribution, and product funnel. Leads and the try-on gallery are separate unwindowed sections.

## Day boundaries

Daily reporting follows the selected store's timezone. For an all-store view, Selvette uses the account's primary-store timezone. When no store timezone is available, it uses UTC.

The timezone is always displayed beside the date controls.

## Daily trend versus window total

A shopper-product pair can appear once on each day it is active. For that reason, adding the daily points may not equal the deduplicated funnel total for the whole window. Use the funnel card as the source of truth for window totals.

{% hint style="info" %}
Daily timezone bucketing changed on July 30, 2026. Older daily bars can shift by one day compared with the previous UTC-based view.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.selvette.com/insights/date-ranges-and-timezones.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
