## Run the shopper flow

![The storefront photo-upload step](/files/yDVEhzmTienWAnNHUkda)

1. Open a product page with image try-on enabled.
2. Select **Try it on**.
3. Choose a clear, front-facing photo. On a phone, the shopper can also open the camera.
4. Review the photo, then start the try-on.
5. Wait for the generated result.
6. Select **Add to cart** inside the result and confirm that Shopify's cart updates.

For the clearest result, use a well-lit photo with the shopper visible and avoid very small images. Selvette rejects images larger than 15 MB before upload.

## What to check

* The button is visible in the intended position.
* The correct product and selected variant are used.
* The result appears without covering Shopify's own Add to cart controls.
* **Add to cart** adds the selected variant and updates the theme's cart count or drawer.
* If email capture is enabled, it appears in the configured result flow.

If the launcher is missing, see [Widget not appearing](/troubleshooting-and-faq/widget-not-appearing.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.selvette.com/shopify-app/first-try-on.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
