Branding settings apply to the shopper experience on the selected store.

## Update the appearance

1. In Studio, open **Widget → Branding**. In Shopify, open **Widget** and find the branding settings.
2. Set an **Accent color** using a six-digit hex value.
3. Add an HTTPS **Logo URL** if you want your logo inside the experience.
4. Write the **Privacy line** shown near photo upload.
5. Choose the preview sample:
   * **Generic model**; or
   * **My on-model photoshoot**.
6. Turn result email capture on or off.
7. Review the live preview, then save.

## Write a useful privacy line

Keep it short and concrete. Tell shoppers why the photo is needed and how long it is kept. The retention period is controlled under **Widget → Limits**.

Changes to the accent color and logo update the Studio preview as you type. They are not live on the storefront until you select **Save settings**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.selvette.com/widget-setup/branding.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
