# Welcome

Selvette helps shoppers see products on themselves before they buy—and gives merchants one place to shape, protect, and understand that experience.

Use Selvette to offer image try-on, on-model creative, 360° video, and Live AR makeup. You can work entirely inside Shopify, or connect your store to Studio Hub when you also want Create, team access, multi-store management, or a custom-site installation.

## Start here

* Selling only on Shopify? Start with [the Shopify App](/shopify-app/overview.md).
* Want to create on-model campaign images? Start with [Studio Hub](/studio-hub/overview.md).
* Adding try-on to another ecommerce platform or a custom product page? Start with [the custom-site widget](/custom-sites/install-the-widget.md).
* Not sure which path fits? See [Choose your setup](/getting-started/choose-your-setup.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
The Shopify App and Studio Hub can share one account, one recurring plan, and one credit balance. You do not need a second subscription to use Create after connecting a Shopify-paid store to Studio Hub.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.selvette.com/home.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
